Downloading YouTube Videos

We hope you enjoy this video tutorial created by one of the students in Mr. Steenstra's 6th grade technology class! This tutorial explains how to download a YouTube video using the www.save-video.com website.

Note there are several other websites that work in a similar fashion. Be careful because many of them contain unwelcome advertisements. In addition, YouTube videos are automatically protected by copyright law, so be sure to use them appropriately.

Screencastify

This video is particularly interesting because it is a screencast of a screencast. WeVideo, another tool that is capable of creating screencasts, was used to capture a screencast of Screencastify in action. You might notice a few glitches in the video because the Chromebook was slightly overloaded by these concurrent tasks! But it's still a pleasure to watch. Enjoy!
